I’m Henry, an illustrator and creative focused on producing work for the children’s market, including books, posters, merchandise, and packaging. I’m drawn to this through a love of bright colours, bold shapes, and playful, engaging aesthetics that invite curiosity and imagination.

My work is influenced by illustrators such as Elena Odriozola, Oliver Jeffers, and Jan Pienkowski, along with my interest in mythology, fantasy, and music. I also find inspiration in everyday moments, small, often overlooked details that can be reimagined into something meaningful and visually engaging.

I work with a range of media, including pencil, biro, watercolour, screen print, gel print, collage, and Photoshop, combining traditional and digital techniques with a strong emphasis on experimentation and storytelling.

Through my work I aim to bring a sense of whimsy and wonder into the world while also gently introducing topics that impact children and their environments, but not necessarily talked about. My personal experience of autism informs my approach, shaping how I think about communication, inclusivity, and creativity. It’s a perspective I continue to develop through my work, as well as through my experiences in education and volunteering at children’s projects and festivals.
